The Practical English Teaching Lab gathers all the employees and doctoral students of the Institute who teach practical English courses in a given academic year.
The most important tasks of the Lab include:
coordinating and teaching academic-level practical English classes;
developing and updating the syllabi for practical English courses;
supervising the selection of textbooks; designing and updating teaching materials;
conducting practical English language exams; coordinating the exams and the marking process; ensuring an appropriate level of exams;
improving the quality of practical English classes by means of, e.g., the organisation of meetings, workshops and training sessions;
support for PhD students who teach practical English courses as part of their internships.
