dr Justyna Leśniewska

Assistant professor at the Institute of English Studies, Department of Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching. Previously, she worked at Troy University (AL, USA) and the University of Northern Iowa (IA, USA).

Dr. Leśniewska is the author of over thirty publications in the field of applied linguistics. In 2019 she published a book with Jagiellonian University Press, entitled Articles in English as a Second Language: A Phraseological Perspective. Her scientific interests focus on the following issues: lexical and collocational aspects of the acquisition and teaching of English as a second language; the role of cross-linguistic influence in bilingualism and in second language acquisition and use; new technologies in foreign language teaching.
